Horse back riding One of the most enjoyable ways to see the spectacular scenery of the San Juan Mountains is on horse back. We have several horses available for our guests. No matter what your riding experience is we assure you a horse that will satisfy your needs

Fishing Whether your passion is fishing along a rushing mountain river or sitting back looking out on a beautiful mountain lake this is the place for quality fishing. If your love is fly fishing, quality choices abound. From the gold metal quality waters of the San Juan River... to the Piedra River north of Pagosa Springs.... to the Rio Grande River, this area is a fishermen's paradise. Or just a few feet away from your room is one of the best trout fishing rivers in Colorado, the Navajo River that runs through the middle of the ranch. Also we have a pond loaded with rainbows if you want to assure a catch of the day.

ATVing For a quick, fun, and relatively easy way to see this area's beautiful backcountry, consider our all-terrain vehicles. Easy to learn and fun to ride.


Hiking This part of Colorado offers a wide variety of wilderness paths that traverse some of the most scenic areas of the Rockies and Continental Divide. It is a unique experience for both the body and soul. Some of these trails have become a living history lesson as they reveal the tales of its early inhabitants, from Indians to turn-of-the-century miners and sheep herders.


Golf The Pagosa Springs Golf Club is a spectacular course with 27 championship holes. Ponderosa pines line the fairway making the course both beautiful and challenging. You are surrounded with magnificent views of the San Juan Mountains. It is a 30 minute drive from the ranch.


Rafting in the Colorado Rockies is a breathtaking experience-literally. Each spring, massive volumes of snowmelt makes its way from the high country, squeezes through canyons and creates whitewater, the essence of rafting. The San Juan River offers fun and excitement. You can run the river in a guided paddle or oar raft or you can paddle an inflatable kayak. It is a 30 minute drive from the ranch.

Relaxation If all you want to do is relax there is a hammock on the deck just perfect for an afternoon nap. Pagosa Springs is close by if you would like to soak in its famous “healing waters” or enjoy a world class massage. Your time is yours to do as much or as little as you want.
